Course Description:

The Family Systems/Adolescent Treatment course examines family and adolescent treatment issues in the context of family systems and the dynamics of addiction. An overview of structural, functional, and system approaches will be explored. Family roles and the relationship between diverse family dynamics and structure, multi-generational transmission, and developmental information will be applied to the treatment of addictions.
